CREDIBILITY
SCIENTIFIC PROOF OF THE PRODUCTS' EFFECTIVENESS
In order to test the efficiency of SAICOZERO ZONE in the reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C.), we have conducted air samplings at two different points:
1On the lapel of the Operator,
to measure personal exposure
to painting overspray (still present in all booths).

2Inside the SAICO ZERO ZONE,
on the corner of the cabin,
at 30 cm (11 inches) from the wall,
about 80 cm (31 inches) high.

Sampling was conducted during painting with solvent based paint.
We have referred, as it is custom in Industrial Hygiene and Toxixology, to the TLV (Threshold Limit Values) published by AIGIH (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists) and to the German Standard, MAK (Maximale Arbeitsplatzkonzentrationen). The following table summarizes the results of sampling and analysis indicating measured concentrations of the seven main categories of solvents during painting process.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PARAMETERS IN AVERAGE AIR
Air flow | 0,43 m/sec (84 fpm) |
Duration of sampling | 70 min |
Air capacity | 31900 mc/h (19,000 Cfm) |

ANALYTICAL RESULTS SUMMARY TABLE
MAK: Maximale Arbeitsplatzkonzentrationen, wherever available
TLV: limits of exposure to solvent
A: from sample placed on lapel of operator
B: from sample placed inside the SAICO ZERO ZONE
< : Below limit of detection
The analysis results confirm that the working environment of a SAICOZERO ZONE falls abundantly within TLV and MAK, without emitting any substance into the atmosphere, even when using SOLVENT BASED basecoat, topcoat and metallic.
